Sonics @ Bucks: Back in 1989, the Bucks and Sonics met in game that would wind up going to 5OT's and over 300 total points scored. While I don't expect that to happen here, both teams are capable of doing so. Both can score and neither can play defense. Predicted Score: Seattle wins 114-111 in a nail biter finish. Magic @ Heat: Orlando has been consistently terrible in the past when visiting Miami. But with Howard and Francis there it should at least be in single-digits. I remember when the Magic and Heat met it was Shaq v. Alonzo. Now they're on the same team. I really doubt defensive-powerhouse Tony Battie will do a good job stopping Shaq. The Heat are due at any time for a good 15 game win streak. Predicted Score: Miami easily wins 92-84 Rockets @ Clippers: What everyone thinks the Rockets should be, the Clippers are. Chris Kaman and Elton Brand are a far tougher defensive presence than Yao and Howard could ever be. Sam Cassell is the PG the Rockets have needed for years, and Rafer Alston has been a huge disappointment. Oh get used to Mutumbo getting a lot of playing time, since Yao picks up a foul every 3 seconds. This is going to be an easy game here. Predicted Score: The LA Clippers win 93-75 |
